Before working at Teen Vogue, Port was an intern for Women's Wear Daily magazine for two summers. She also interned at W magazine for three summers. From 2005–2007, Port was an intern with Conrad. The final episode of season two showed Port interviewing at Vogue headquarters in New York for the position of "Fashion Contributor" at Teen Vogue. The episode dramatized the competition between Port and another young woman, Emily Weiss, who had previously appeared in season two as an intern visiting from New York. It was revealed in the season three premiere that Port was awarded the job, and was employed by Teen Vogue in Los Angeles.

Carmella Garcia(Carmella Danielle DeCesare ) is an American model who was Playboy magazine's Miss April 2003 and Playmate of the Year for 2004. She is of Italian and Puerto Rican descent. She was featured in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in the players' wives feature.She appeared in the 2005 Playmates at Play at the Playboy Mansion swimsuit calendar as calendar girl of March. The calendar was the inaugural Playmates at Play calendar and it was shot on the grounds of the Playboy Mansion in 2004. It was Playboy's first attempt at creating a non-nude swimsuit calendar featuring Playmates similar in style with those from Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. In 2005, DeCesare received breast implants. In an episode of the E! reality-TV series The Girls Next Door in August 2005, she said that her implants looked fake because they were new and had not fully settled.She modeled in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue .

Jessica White is an African-American supermodel, actress and cover girl. In June 2007 White signed a contract with Maybelline making her the only African-American model to have ever had two make-up contracts in her career. She has walked the runways for New York’s top designers including Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, and Tommy Hilfiger. She has done pictorials for Harper's Bazaar, Teen Vogue, King and covers shots for Surface and Trace magazines. In 2003, White was chosen for a coveted shoot in Sports Illustrated's famed Swimsuit Issue. She was also featured in the 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008 issues. In 2005, she became the first African-American model to be featured in three consecutive editions of the annual feature. In addition to working with world class photographers she was the object/subject of several Joanne Gair body painting works in these editions. She holds the distinction of being the only Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model to appear on the cover in a body painting although only as an inset.
