Queen of burlesque, Dita Von Teese, has teamed up with Wonderbra to create a limited edition collection of lingerie called Wonderbra by Dita Von Teese. The collection will feature lingerie in Dita's classic 1940's burlesque style.

Von Teese, famous for her martini glass strip show, says that "I've been passionate about beautiful lingerie my entire life, so to team up with Wonderbra is a great privilege for me and I am immensely proud of my collection. I really hope that with this new range I can share my passion for sensual, wearable lingerie that will add a touch of glamour to people's lives."

Dita von Teese - Burlesque Queen

Many of you might not familiar with the term "Burlesque". According to wikipedia, Burlesque is a humorous theatrical entertainment involving parody and sometimes grotesque exaggeration. In 20th century America, the form became associated with a variety show in which striptease is the chief attraction.

One of the most known Burlesque queen is Dita von Teese, with a signature of a martini glass in her routine. Being a lingerie model herself, von Teese has appeared in Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle, and international issues of nearly every fashion magazine. Most recently she has designed a new lingerie range with Wonderbra.
