Biography
Carrie Anne Moss was born on 21 August, 1967 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. At a very early age Carrie was determined to be an actress. The younger of two children, At the age of 11 she was starring in a a musical theater group. During her senior year at the exclusive Magee Secondary, she was chosen to tour Europe with the school choir. This trip affirmed her passion for performing. Upon her return, she enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, and upon graduation she set out to become a model and moved to Europe. Success was almost immediate and it wasn't long before she landed modeling jobs in Toronto, Japan and Spain, where, at the age of 20, she shot her first of many international magazine covers.
While working in Spain, she landed a regular role in the television series Dark Justice, which was produced in Barcelona for the first season.After starring opposite Keanu Reeves in the Wachowski brothers smash hit "The Matrix," Carrie-Anne Moss has become one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood. Following the release of "The Matrix," Moss was snapped up by some of Hollywood's most prominent producers for starring roles in four films.
