Sammy Winward

Sammy Winward appeared in the ITV celebrity talent show Soapstar Superstar in January 2006. In March 2006, she appeared on the Orange Playlist. Here she explained that she was training to be a ballerina before being picked by her agent Ruth Young to attend the Emmerdale audition. On "The Antony Cotton Show" on December 29th (2007), Winward discussed her plans for a long-term modelling career and her intentions to leave Emmerdale on a 12 month hiatus. She did not state when this break would happen. Winward was voted number 73 in FHM's 2006 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll. She recently appeared on All Star Family Fortunes. Her family lost 381 - 30 to Kyran Bracken. Offscreen, she is close friends with co-stars Lucy Pargeter and Georgia Slowe.
